More Pics of that cute Baby!

Jill is just too cute and so happy! She's a very friendly baby and reaches out for anyone who will take her. The other day I carried her up to the school to get the older kids. She reached out to one mom to hold her. When I asked her to come back to me she said, "No!" (one of her favorite words now) and then reached for another mom. She made a circle of about 5 moms and then went around again. The world is such a wonderful friendly place when you are 15 months old!

Just Chilling at the Soccer Field!

Jill LOVES to write!

Grass is just so doggone interesting!

Ya'll have been holding out on me! Cookies are VERY yummy! Thanks, Grandma Mary!

Wearing My Daddy's Hat!!!

Peek-a-Boo!

Whitetail Deer in our Backyard

This week was so busy. Luke had a birthday and Kate and Claire each had big projects due. Claire made a waterfall for her project. It turned out great! Kate did a project on Whitetail Deer. She did a really good job. She got a 4! Which at our school is phenomenal. It's better than perfect - it's not like a 100%. It's much better. Anyway, for part of her project she took lots of pictures of our deer in the back and showed how well they were camaflouged. Here's one of our pictures of our deer enjoying the corn that John and the kids put out.

Happy Birthday Luke!!!

Luke turned 6 this week!!! I can't believe he's getting so big! For Luke's birthday, he brought cupcakes to school and then we had a family party that night.
This Saturday he'll have a big party at our house with his friends.

Happy Easter!!!

What a beautiful Easter morning it was to celebrate the resurrection of our Savior Jesus Christ..

Everyone had lots of fun this morning with Easter baskets and an egg hunt. Luke ran collecting eggs like a pro.

Jill wasn't too interested in hunting eggs. She LOVED the sippy cups that the Easter bunny brought!

She's Walking!!!

Jill is now officially a toddler! She's gotten the hang of walking now and walks everywhere!!!

Williamsburg!

We got to go to Williamsburg and Jamestown while Grandpa, Grandma and Rachie were here. We learned so much history. What a great country we live in! The kids loved pretending like they lived in colonial times.

Grandpa, Grandma and Rachie Visit!

We were so lucky this week to have Grandpa Dave, Grandma Mary and Rachie come and visit us!

Sleepover!

Kate finally had her long awaited sleepover with her new friends Jenna and Katelyn here in North Carolina. They had so much fun.

(Yes,they're twins!)

Cute Baby!!!

What a great venue to show off our cute baby!!! Jill FINALLY took her first steps last week. We haven't seen many other steps since, but at least we know she CAN walk, she just chooses not to! She never seems very impressed with herself when she walks. Her attitude is more one of confusion as to why everyone thinks walking is such a great thing when crawling suits her purposes just fine and seems much more efficient!

Jill loves to read books! She's the first one of our brood to not eat the books when they were under 3. (Actually, I guess Kate loved to lay on her back and read books when she was just a toddler) She also loves her "nanis" (bananas), just like Luke did! She loves her baby swing - yes, I still have the baby swing and don't know if we will EVER be able to get rid of it. Every day when Jill is tired she goes over to her swing and says, "Wee Wee!" Once I put her into the swing, she points to the TV and whines until I put Baby Mozart on. I sure hope it's true that those shows make a baby smarter!!! Oh, and Jill LOVES to dance. Her favorite toy is the singing doll she was sent for Valentine's day. It's a rapper of some kind that sings the popular song "Shake Your Money Maker!" I didn't realize for weeks that this is what the doll was saying, until one day when we were showing John Jill dance to it. John was surprised I was playing this over and over for our baby and proceeded to tell me all of the lyrics it was singing! Can you guess who sent us this rapper doll?! Bad Papaw, of course! I'm sure he did not realize what the lyrics were either. So should I get rid of this doll - it's her very favorite toy?!

This is Jill having a really bad hair day!

Oh, and she just LOVEs Diet Coke!!!

Another pic of that cute baby!!

Here's the cutest of the six frogs!

This was last Saturday after Kate played in a piano competition. She got "Superior" rating which is the highest she good get. The judge even wrote in the comment section that she "made the piano sing." We are so proud of Kate!
